MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa praised public awareness in deterring foreign interference in domestic affairs and protecting Bahrain from instability.
HRH urged to better exploit the climate of openness in Bahrain while taking into consideration the national interest to ward off threats to the nation.
HRH Premier was speaking as he along with His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, visited the Ramadan majlis of Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa where they exchanged Ramadan congratulations with the audience.
Both leaders underscored the importance of availing of the spiritual climate of the holy month of Ramadan to boost social unity and cohesion.
HRH the Premier paid tribute to the loyal Bahrainis for their patriotic stances, lauding national unity and the wisdom of His Majesty the King in steering Bahrain to more progress and prosperity.
He pledged support to all efforts aimed at serving the national and preserving its security and stability, urging the Bahraini people to put the national interest above anything else and stand united in front of attempts to drive wedges and sow division.
He pointed out Bahrain’s growth at all levels, stressing that the development march will continue unabated towards a more prosperous future. He underlined the government’s resolve to carry out more programmes to improve citizens’ welfare and fast-track development.
HRH the Prime Minister took pride in the honourable stances of the GCC and major countries in supporting Bahrain.
Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa thanked HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince for the visit which reflects their keenness to keep in touch with citizens and discuss crucial issues pertaining to their life.
