MANAMA: BMI Bank, a subsidiary of Al Salam Bank– Bahrain, announced that its newly board of directors had unanimously elected Salah Saleh Asheer, a senior and experienced Bahraini banker, as Chairman and Habib Ahmed Kassim as the deputy chairman at their first board meeting.
The board of directors include Ahmed Al Abri, Sunder George, Mohammed Tariq Sadeq, Yousif Abdulla Taqi, Jamal Ali Al-Hazeem and Dr. Anwar Khalifa Al Sadah.
The shareholders of BMI Bank had appointed the new board at an extraordinary general meeting.
“BMI Bank will continue to focus on providing customers with competitive, unique and innovative financial solutions as its moves forward towards streamlining the operational aspects of its business combination with Al Salam Bank – Bahrain,” the bank in a statement said.
