MANAMA: Housing Real Estate Company announced that work is expected to be completed during the current year in three malls that contain 30 shops, which the Housing Bank has been working on their establishment in Salmabad, Budaiya and Samaheej.
Housing Real Estate Co. added that designs of seven more similar malls have been completed that will be established in areas of Al-Lawzi, Malikiah, Riffa, Northeast parts of Muharraq, Samaheej, Hamad Town and Zalaq, to provide 61 shops.
Real Estate Housing Acting General Manager, Eng. Iyad Obeid said that the malls are constructed on lands owned by the Housing Bank in residential areas. The shops come in different areas to provide daily life services for the residents of these residential areas.
He added international environment standards will be taken into account in the construction process, as well as the use of environmental friendly and heat-insulating building materials, in addition to the provision of water and energy for the same areas.
