Manama: The Cabinet on Sunday discussed the memorandum presented by the Minister of Interior on the issuance of a Unified System for the Acceptance of donations and grants at the Ministry of Interior.
The Official Government Spokesperson and State Minister for Information Affairs Sameera Rajab post weekly meeting that the unified system aims at clearly specifying and name authorized bodies from whom donations shall be accepted and the terms, conditions and mechanisms adopted in utilizing these donations, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom.
The Cabinet decided to refer the memorandum to the Ministerial Committee for Legal Affairs for further review.
