BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa chaired at the General Command the 6th meeting of the National Safety Council which reviewed measures taken to boost the kingdom’s security and stability, enforce the rule of law and protect rights and properties.
He expressed satisfaction at return of life to normal in Bahrain stressing that, thanks to God and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the kingdom has been able to overcome the crisis and put the development process back on the fast track.
He lauded the honourable stance of the loyal Bahrainis as well as the dedication and sacrifice of the BDF, Interior Ministry, National Guard and Public Security personnel to ensure people’s safety.
“The national responsibility requires maintaining the supreme national interest and dealing with mistakes and shortcomings with no laxity,” he said hailing support of the GCC countries to the Kingdom.
