President of the Information Affairs Authority (IAA) Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received here today the Commander of the Peninsula Shield Troops in the Kingdom Major General Motlaq bin Salem Al Azaima’a.
During the meeting, Shaikh Fawaz lauded the tremendous efforts exerted by the Peninsula Shield Forces to protect the kingdom’s strategic institutions and vital facilities and hailed the crucial they have played in restoring security and stability across country, reiterating IAA’s keen interest to highlight such an honourable GCC role and supportive stances.
On his part, Al Azaima’a praised IAA’s coverage of the GCC troops’ operations and keenness to highlight their roles in the kingdom.
Other issues of joint interest were also discussed.
