Manama: With all arrangements have been in place to host fair, free and impartial elections in Bahrain, cameras and mobile phones will not be allowed in the polling booths.
“As part of a pre cautionary measure to ensure the polls transparent, the cameras and the smart phones will be prohibited in the polling booths during polling on Saturday November 22nd,” the President of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission and the elections Executive Director Advisor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainin told reporters.
He said the move not to allow pictures of ballot papers would help to stop the possible exploitation during polling.
