Al Sakhir Palace: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has applauded the outstanding and deep-rooted relations bonding the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kuwaiti and the steadily-growing cooperation with them.

HM the King affirmed that thanks to those excellent relations with the UAE and Kuwait, joint ventures have succeeded and the pre-set goals have been achieved.

This came as HM the King received at Al-Sakhir Palace a delegation from the Abu Dhabi-based Eagle Hills Company, led by its Board of Directors member Mohammed Al-Abbar and a number of the affiliates of the Diyar Al-Muharraq Company.

HM King Hamad lauded the inauguration of the “Marassi Al-Bahrain” Project (Bahrain Marinas), which will boost the Kingdom’s urban development march.

HM the King was informed in details about a scale model of the project, including its services and facilities.

HM the King praised the inauguration of the project which he considered among the economy-spurring ones, being in accordance with the Kingdom’s Economic Vision 2030 based on diversifying sources of income and not relying on oil wealth only.

Based on internationally-competitive production based, and thanks to the national efforts and visions of the government and the support of the private sector, the Bahraini economy is on the right track, HM the King said, calling for the need to enhance the economy’s sustainability and competitiveness, and create a suitable economic environment and a positive investment climate.

HM the King expressed sincere appreciation to the delegation of the two companies for their joint efforts at all levels, and confidence in Bahrain as a suitable host for such projects, and a favourable destination for investments, in general, and housing, tourism and leisure projects, in particular, wishing them every success.

The Diyar Al-Muharraq, one of the leading urban developers in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Eagle Hills, a global developer of iconic cities, signed a major partnership agreement to develop the “Marassi Al-Bahrain” Project, one of the most prestigious projects in the eastern coast of the Diyar Al-Muharraq City.

The 864,484-square-metre project, the first of its kind in the kingdom, will include luxurious hotels, restaurants, residential areas, business centres, a commercial mall, recreational facilities, a port for cruise ships, a central park and traditional markets.
