MANAMA: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reviewed the establishment of a food storage company as part of ensuring the food security for the Kingdom.
“The establishment of a food storage company to support food security in Bahrain and animal wealth holding company,” these were the two main points on agenda discussed during the MOIC-BCCI joint meeting held on Sunday.
Minister of Industry and Commerce Zayed R. Alzayani chaired the 21st meeting of joint economic committee between Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), in the presence of BCCI Chairman, Khalid Abdulrahman Almoayed and a number of committee members from both sides.
The meeting discussed topics of common interests and the latest about the Bahrain Export Development Center project and SME Toolkit project and Economic City project.
The Minister of Industry and Commerce expressed appreciation to the major role of the BCCI as the representative of the private sector.
