January 11, 2015

MANAMA: Exhibition space at Bahrain’s largest and most popular annual consumer products exhibition, the Autumn Fair 2015, has sold out and the organisers are looking forward to one of the biggest shows in the 26-year history of the series.

Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, over 750 exhibitors from 21 countries are set to participate and showcase thousands of products from 21 – 29 January 2015 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The exciting exhibition spans a massive 15,400 square metres of space this year, marking a 4% increase on the previous year’s event. A huge variety of goods will go on sale during the 9-day extravaganza, ranging from specialty food, fashion and furniture, to technology, toys, textiles and many more.

Numerous Bahraini businesses regularly take part in the exhibition, and many offer special deals to visitors. The exhibition also attracts strong exhibitor participation from Bangladesh, India, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Tunisia and Turkey. The largest international exhibitor groups assemble to form national pavilions from nine countries including China, Egypt, Kuwait, Turkey, Syria, UAE, Pakistan, Yemen and Thailand.

“The Autumn Fair continues to garner a spectacular response from visitors and exhibitors alike, from far and wide. Going strong in its 26th edition, this year has witnessed a phenomenal exhibitor response as evidenced by the increase in exhibition space. With the vast range of products on sale, the exhibition truly has something for everyone and we are looking forward in all confidence to yet another highly successful event,” Arabian Exhibition Management (AEM) Project Manager, Mohammed Ebrahim, said.

The Autumn Fair is the most widely attended exhibition in Bahrain and is expected to attract over 190,000 visitors from Bahrain and neighbouring countries.

Entry to the Autumn Fair 2015 is 700 fils. Children under the age of 5 years will be admitted free of charge. The exhibition will open daily to the public from 12 pm – 10 pm on 21 January, 10 am – 2 pm and 4 pm to 10 pm on 22 January, 12 pm to 10 pm on 23 January, 10 am – 2 pm and 4 pm – 10 pm on 24, 25, 26 and 27 January, and 10 am – 10 pm on 28 and 29 January.
