His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Al Rawdha Palace, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, the visiting Saudi Governor of the Eastern Region Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud who was accompanied by Heads of tribes, businessmen and citizens.
Prince Mohammed conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defence and Aviation and Inspector General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as well as their best wishes of continuous good health and happiness to HM the King and more progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people.
HM King Hamad took pride in strong historical brotherly ties bonding both countries and peoples and their progress in various fields. He also hailed Saudi Arabia’s honourable stances and support for Bahrain to deter any foreign threat and maintain its security and stability.
HM the King asked Prince Mohammed to convey his greeting to the Saudi Monarch and Crown Prince as well as his best wishes of further growth and prosperity to Saudi Arabia.
HM King Hamad bestowed Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Medal on Prince Mohammed in tribute to his tremendous efforts to further cement bilateral ties.
The meeting was also attended by senior members of the ruling family and officials.
HM the King hosted a lunch banquet in honour of Prince Mohammed and his accompanying delegation.
