His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed the importance of dedicating democracy, freedom and openness to serving the national interest.
“However, some people tried to drain these precepts from their essence to drag the nation into undesirable circumstances by jeopardizing the national fundamentals and achievements brought about in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,” he said as he received senior members of the ruling family and officials.
“The constitutional institutions, one of the dividends of the royal reform project which has lifted Bahrain to higher ranks regionally and internationally, represent a favourable climate for anyone seeking reform and welfare for the homeland,” he added thanking God Almighty for saving Bahrain from the subversive plot which sought to destroy the nation and social fabric.
“After what the kingdom has witnessed, everybody has to play his part now to overcome the repercussions for this nation requires us to transcend above anything to help it remain an oasis of security and stability,” HRH the Prime Minister stressed.
He also expressed surprise at some people’s silence and passive response while Bahrain, the land of peace and love, has been targeted due to conspiracies and their large-scale detrimental effects.
“Despite the painful facts uncovered so far, determination and strong patriotism will lead to an even brighter and more prosperous tomorrow,” he said assuring people in Bahrain that the kingdom is fine thanks to divine care and wisdom of HM the King who spares no effort for the welfare and good of the nation.
