Under the patronage of Minister of Energy His Excellency Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza, the event is being organized by the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE) and the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) in collaboration with several leading local and Gulf organisations.
The Conference Organising Committee held a Preparatory Meeting, chaired by Ali A. Jabar Al Sawad, General Manager, Strategies and Planning at NOGA and discussed the logistics of planning the event, so as to achieve its desired goals. The Energy Management Conference is being held for the second time in Bahrain.
The committee discussed various topics in the agenda and exchanged views and ideas. Members reviewed progress in the arrangements as well as the media committee and did follow-ups on technical and logistical work. They also discussed technical papers to be presented at the conference, organizational matters relating to work progress as well as arrangements for the accompanying exhibition, where several local, Gulf and international businesses are expected to participate.
The preparatory meeting was held by the organising committee to ensure great attention was given to achieve set objectives and results that speed up the development of the energy sector in Bahrain and the GCC. It also aimed to make the event highly successful at all levels like all other events organized or co-organized by NOGA in the past in terms of preparation, so as to ensure it contributed to strengthening the prestigious position of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the regional and international levels.
The meeting was attended by BSE President Engineer Mr. Masoud Ebrahim Al Hermi, Organisational Committee members from NOGA, and others.
