Manama: As part of ‘Shop Bahrain’ events, the largest event in the Kingdom, an opening ceremony for the Bahraini artist Jamal Abdulrahim ‘Artist Tribute Exhibition’ held at Moda Mall.
The opening ceremony was attended by the artist Jamal Abdulrahim and Amal Al Kooheji, Vice President of Human Capital Development Department at Tamkeen, along with ‘Shop Bahrain’ organising committee and representatives from Moda Malls’ management on Thursday, 24th December 2015.
Moda Mall is expected to host the exhibition for two weeks between 24th of December 2015 to 6th of January 2016, which includes paintings and sculptures that are highly revered during the artists’ participation in ‘Art Bahrain’ exhibition. Shoppers will get the opportunity to enter the raffle draw for a chance to win one of the artist’s original paintings when the exhibition concludes. The exhibition will also be accompanied by live traditional music during the weekends.
‘Shop Bahrain’ aims to mirror the Kingdom’s position as an accessible and welcoming destination for families and visitors from across the region by providing a distinctive shopping experience filled with special offers and entertainment. ‘Shop Bahrain’ is the largest nationwide festival with a unique 30-day celebration of Bahrain’s heritage, hospitality and tourism offering the entire family running until 23rd January 2016.
