Danat Al Salam offers $1m, two $500,000 prizes

MANAMA: Al Salam Bank-Bahrain, one of the pioneering Shari’a-compliant Banks in the Kingdom, launched its enhanced investment savings scheme “Danat Al Salam” for 2018 that was inspired from Bahrain’s renowned pearl heritage and offering customers with more chances to win life changing prizes.

The refreshed Danat Savings Scheme introduces one of the biggest “Al Dana” Grand prize worth $1 Million and two “Al Dana” Grand prizes of $250,000 each to be awarded during the year. Additionally, Danat Al Salam offers more opportunities for customers to win monthly prizes with “Gmash” grand cash prizes total worth up to $90,000 and “Fusoos” valuable cash prizes total worth over $40,000. This scheme will offer customers an attractive monthly expected annual profit feature on their investments. Plus, loyal customers will be rewarded with double chances to win when keeping their investments for a longer period in their Danat Al Salam account that will entitle them to an additional entry into the monthly draw.

Danat Savings Scheme is our retail’s flagship product that has been successful since its inception in 2016 where we witnessed tremendous growth in the portfolio thanks to strong support from customers both old and new who continued to invest their savings with us. We have had great success last year with lots of financial benefits awarded to our customers enabling them to realize their dreams while benefiting from an excellent opportunity to invest in a scheme that is rewarding,” Mohammed Buhijji, Al Salam Bank’s Head of Retail Banking, said.

“We will continue to innovate our product offerings that supports our existing and new customers’ future financial success whilst taking advantage of the scheme’s valuable rewards. We hope our customers will capitalize on the value-added products and services we offer and manage their savings and accounts effectively,” Mohammed Buhijji, added.

To be eligible for the prize draw, customers need to open a Danat savings account at any Al Salam Bank-Bahrain branches with a minimum deposit of BD50 or apply through our online product application service “Apply@Home” available on the bank’s website. The Danat Savings scheme draws will be officiated by representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Tourism along with the internal and external auditors and in accordance with Central Bank of Bahrain and Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Tourism laws.
