MINA SALMAN: Mahmood Rafique, Editor: The Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain enjoy excellent bilateral and both brotherly nations continue to work together to further cement ties in defense and security areas.
This was the crux of a speech of Captain Muhammad Farman, Commanding Officer during onboard reception at PNS Yarmook currently visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain. Pakistan Ambassador HE Saqib Rauf, ambassadors, commanding officers of different nations including the US Fifth Fleet were also present during the reception.
Captain Mohammad Farman highlighted the importance of brotherly ties between Pakistan Navy and Royal Bahrain Navy touching upon the importance of ongoing training and exchange of expertise between the two naval forces. “The defense and security ties between Pakistan and Bahrain will continue to serve as a cornerstone of bilateral relations. Pakistan Navy has been at the forefront of the CTF 150, which Pakistan has commanded many times, and other such international coalitions currently working together in the region with a sole aim of making the international waters safe and secure by thwarting threats to international trade.”
The reception started with the national anthems of Bahrain and Pakistan and HE Ambassador Saqib Rauf also joined the naval commanders and ambassadors at the onboard cake cutting ceremony.
