The General Director of Northern Governorate police station said that Al Wefaq Society organized a gathering in Saar attended by around 4000 men and women.
The director in reply to what was reported by some news agencies affirmed that that gathering was previously informed about and that it was legal.
The assistant undersecretary for legal affairs at the ministry of interior said that the gathering today affirmed the freedom of expression and reflected the civilized nature of the principles and democratic atmosphere that the Kingdom of Bahrain was known for. He also extended his thanks to the organizing committee of the gathering and the attendees for their abiding with the regulations and preservation of public order.
